What is Human Design?
Human Design is a system of human differentiation - it's a system that helps you uncover and understand what makes you unique and truly you. Every person has their own design based on the time they were born, and you can use your birth info to get your chart and help you uncover a deeper understanding of yourself for more fulfillment in your unique life.
The message of Human Design is: love yourself for who you are.
Human Design is a unified synthesis of several ancient philosophies:
The Chinese Book of Changes: The I’Ching (Outer ring of the circle)
The Zodiac (Inner ring of the circle)
The Hindu-Brahman Chakra System (the shapes on the body)
The Kabbalah Tree of Life (the lines on the body)
Established in the 1980s by Ra Uru Hu, Human Design is a holistic system that uses differentiation as its guiding principle, a process for deconditioning from what society thinks is right for us and instead connecting with our unique individuality.
In my 6 years of study, I have found the language of Human Design to be a profoundly actionable system for accepting my differences and owning my gifts in day-to-day, embodied ways. While astrology is still my favorite way to tap into the ongoing flows of archetypical time, I really appreciate the way that human design gives advice on living in alignment with your life’s unique blueprint in the here and now.
